Hello, 

I am not a great wordsmith so it is better to get in contact for a discussion but I have been asked to write a little about myself...........food and wine related of course!

so......after working for over 10 years as a restaurant manager, in the Cotswolds, I studied and graduated in Wine Studies at Plumpton College  and  gained WSET qualifications in Sussex and then travelled around the world working in vineyards and wineries in The UK, New Zealand and France.

Coming home to work in London, I managed the Tour and Tasting department at Vinopolis, now sadly closed, set up wine tastings on The London Eye, wine tastings for Red Letter days and Oz Clarke, Cheese and Wine tastings with Paxton and Whitfield BBC Good Food Show in London at the same time studying at Prue Leith's School of Food and Wine. Busy but wonderful experience, food and wine to taste and talk about every day. Great people to work with all over London, Brighton, Oxford and Birmingham.

My parents bought a house in France in the early 90's and I moved here 9 years ago to quietly write a book called Tasting The Lot, a gourmet travel guide dedicated to exploring the Lot Valley and its food and wines.

I am slowly getting there, but each year I find something more exciting to write about,drink and eat, so its a slow progress. But it will be finished by Christmas this year, so just in case you want any ideas for presents.
